Eleanor Gaccetta

Eleanor “Ellie” Gaccetta, MBA, is an author, speaker, baker, and caregiver advocate whose work inspires readers through stories of resilience, family, and personal transformation. Her diverse professional background includes serving as a legislative and policy analyst for the State of Colorado and the City and County of Broomfield, as well as a private contractor.

Ellie’s life changed when she became her mother’s full-time caregiver for nearly 10 years. Her first book, One Caregiver’s Journey, was born from the personal journal she kept while caring for her mother from age 92 to 102. Filled with insight, encouragement, and practical wisdom, the book has been recognized by the American Home Health Association as “a blueprint for caregivers.”

Ellie’s second book, Generations of Good Food, celebrates six generations of Italian family recipes, stories, and traditions that bring people together around the table. Written for both beginner cooks and experienced bakers, it reflects her lifelong passion for family, food, and connection.
